Happy December! In some ways, it is hard to believe we are nearing the end of 2023. We entered this year with an almost certain recession on the horizon and we managed to navigate a banking crisis (Silicon Valley Bank failure), a U.S. debt ceiling crisis, and international crises in Ukraine as well as in Israel and the Gaza Strip. The recession has been averted so far, even if a weakening economy in Q4 2023 may finally be the start of a slowdown. As we head into 2024, I hope you have the opportunity to enjoy time with your loved ones and friends. The world is a safer place with prosperity shared around the globe, and even safer with prosperity that begins at home. Merry Christmas!
