As the fall weather changes and we begin in earnest to prepare for Thanksgiving, it is appropriate to think of the many blessings we have as Americans and citizens of such a great country. Despite our flaws, we are still the hope for the world and the destination of millions of immigrants. And as we prepare for winter, we have an economy that is expanding and estimated to grow by 5.7% in 2021 and another 3.8% in 2022. Unemployment is 4.8%, and even though it is above the near-term record of 3.5%, it is still declining. There is no reason why America cannot address the problems it faces that remain, but then again, maybe that is another reason to be thankful. The best is yet to come.
