Happy February! According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. created 143,000 jobs in January while the unemployment rate declined from 4.1 percent to 4.0 percent. Overall, the U.S. economy grew 2.3 percent in real GDP for Q4 2024 and 2.8 percent for all of 2024. There is much for the economy to digest with the talk of potential trade wars and a review of federal government spending, but in the meantime, the economy continues to expand. I hope you enjoy the last full month of winter with family and friends!
